Riga - Climate
Riga enjoys a temperate climate, which is influenced by the proximity of the sea. Summers are short and chilly, with average temperatures around 18°C in July. Winters a re long and pretty cold, with frequent snowfalls. The city results to be quite foggy throughout the year. Nonetheless, a trip in winter can be a fascinating experience, with the view of the iced lakes and rivers, and the possibility to admire the Northern polar lights.
